The stages of custom jewellery creation:
- We can start with an idea, a photo or a rough sketch.
- The next step can vary depending on the complexity of the design. Sometimes we go straight to wax (carving by hand) and in other cases we create a CAD (Computer Aided Design) rendering (3D picture). After that you approve the design, a wax model is carved on a lathe by the computer program.
- The wax is then cast into the precious metal you choose. The piece is then buffed, polished and the gemstones are all hand set. The result is a stunning custom made jewellery piece, sure to delight for many years to come.
Custom Personalized Jewellery

- We start with the type of font for the name we are designing. Do you want us to add diamonds or gemstones? How is the name to hang on a chain?
- We carve a wax for your approval.
- Cast the wax, buff, polish the piece and set stones.
Redesign, reset or recycle your old jewellery
- We weigh and measure any diamonds or gemstones to be reused in the new design.
- We give you a credit for your old gold against the job. We prefer not to reuse old gold because we cannot guarantee the finish. Of course, if it is your grandmother’s wedding band we can use some of her gold mixed with new gold.
- We can sketch a design, start with a picture or work from a pre-existing wax in stock. The wax would be modified to fit your finger, your stones and your lifestyle. Or, we carve a wax based on your sketch or photo.
- You come in and try on the 3D wax. This is the stage to make any changes needed. Once you approve the design, we cast the wax, buff, polish and set your stones. Voila, a beautiful custom piece.
